Got an event or project you need to promote?

Unfortunately, due to the large number of requests, we generally do not promote our members events. Instead we recommend on of the following methods of self-promotion:

  • Open-Mic Program @ Monthly Mixers
This is an excellent opportunity to make a great, face-to-face impression and get people excited about your event. Make sure to practice your 90-second pitch. There is typically an Open-mic opportunity at most AFM events and meetings. Anyone may participate in the Open-mic.
  • AFM Facebook Groupfacebook
Post your event, project, casting call, or question in our Facebook group. This is a great way to get the word out and will make it easy for people to share online. Please don't send us a message asking us to post it for you. Just go ahead and post it yourself - we trust you!
  • AFM Facebook Wall  -  Fan Page (Austin FilmMeet)facebook
Post your event on our Facebook wall for all our visitors to see.  This is a great way to get the word out and will make it easy for people to share online.  Please don't send us a message asking us to post it for you.  Just go ahead and post it yourself - we trust you!

We also recommend our official preferred posting websites for your posting pleasure, as appropriate. You should also considering posting your event notice with the following sites, as appropriate:
