Dear Filmmakers,
My name is Justin White and I am working on the Austin Film Meet Group
Feature Film project with H.Cherdon and a variety of other talented writers.
Yes! It is alive and doing very well! We have a public read-through of the
script (& potluck) coming up Sept 5th at the Blue Theater, please join us
and bring your friends. It’s a potluck, so bring a dish to share. It will be
very entertaining and you’ll get the first peek before we go into
pre-production. I will be producing the behind-the-scenes Documentary for the
project and am looking for volunteers who would love to devote some time and
gain some additional experience in capturing the behind the scenes of this
unique project. This is a very unique, really fun, community-driven quality
project. You have to keep in mind this is not an ordinary film, it started
out with almost 25+ writers and the production of the film will be broken up
uniquely. Below is a list of positions available, so if your interested
please contact me back by email and we shall go from there!
VOLUNTEER LIST
- DP & Camera Ops (with equipment, looking to shoot in 1080 24p)
- Sound (with own equipment)
- Editor with own editing software, computer and external drive to back up
the projects footage (The
amount of space needed is undetermined at this stage & these might be
donated.)
- Storyboard Artist/Concept Artist
- Photographers (with equipment)
- Interviewer: Someone with interview experience preferred. Or someone who
can lead the conversation and obtain interesting information that would keep
the audiences attention. We will help provide questions.
Note: If you have a website or a demo reel, please send.
The Documentary will be broken down into sections, but you do not have to
commit to all parts of the project.
Our first shoot will be on Sept 5th at the Read-Through/Potluck. This event
is open to anyone, but please bring a dish to share. We’ll need B-roll and
interviews with writers, readers and H.Cherdon. This footage will be
included on the DVD and also be edited into mini docs to use for teasers &
promotion.
Additional project stages will be discussed once a team has been assembled.
