Synopsis: Simone has to deal with both the confusing world of burials and her fractured relationship with her mother when her mom unexpectedly dies after finding Simone has accidentally killed all her prized house plants.

Character Bios:
SIMONE (early to mid 20s) – Female, recently moved out, but barely independent. Friendly, outgoing, but disorganized and struggling.
ESTHER (early to late 60s) – Female, recently retired from her day job, but never from parenthood. Hyper organized, and has a great love of indoor gardening.
FUNERAL DIRECTOR (30s-40s) – Male, low cost funeral parlor director, just trying to make a buck.
