We are filming a short promo for crowdfunding a feature film and are casting the role of Amy Bellamy, a young teacher, early to mid twenties, who, in 1959, while driving down the highway to Bakersfield, encounters a UFO. This is a one-day shoot, non-union, unpaid, to be filmed in or around Dripping Springs, approximately 20 miles from Austin, within the next six weeks. Must be able to drive standard shift, and it will be helpful if familiar with 1950s / 60s hair and makeup styles. The shoot can serve as an audition for the feature film, if and when funded, and a digital copy of the scene will be provided.
