Written by Leah Weinberger, this short horror script in which a little gilr makes friends with a mummy, was specifically for a short film contest put on by a popular video resource, DVXUser.com's Monsterfest film contest.
After placing in the top 5 in the Screenwriter's of Austin's scriptwriting contest for Monstersfest, the winning writers prestended thier scripts to the filmmakers at the Austin Film Meet. Immediately after hearing Leah's pitch, Justin began focusing on how to make it happen. Bits and Pieces was rushed to production and completed in a matter of a few weeks. Production took place in Elgin and Austin.
This film script was a winner of the 2009 Screenwriter of Austin Monsterfest Script Contest and is a product of the Austin Film Meet Monsterfest Pitch and Script Matchup in 2009. Bits and Pieces went on to win second place in DVXUser.com's Monsterfest competition. Congratulations!
