		<description>To Whom It May Concern,

Hello, my name is Robby Morgan and I am the Deputy Director of Cinema41. If you are unfamiliar with us we are a non-profit independent film series currently screening at the Salvage Vanguard Theatre. Our main focus is screening overlooked or underappreciated independent films from the past that hold cultural relevance to the film industry, despite their lack of recognition. For all of our screenings we try to have some sort of special guest to contextualize the film, whether it is someone from the film itself or an intellectual. We have a screening scheduled on February 2nd of the film &quot;PRIMER&quot; (2004) and we were wondering if someone from your staff might be willing to come out and speak to the audience about your organization and independent film in Austin. The speaker and a guest would of course be comped and your involvement would be advertized on our website.

As a non-profit organization we are constantly looking to the rest of the community for others with a similar mantra to form partnerships and help cultivate a communal film culture. We support the idea of people getting out there and making movies and Austin Film Meet is a major player in that here. We feel working together on this could be mutually beneficial as we can familiarize each other’s fan base with the other’s organization and bring new fans to both.

I’m currently working to put together a series of screenings that would center around current Austin based filmmakers to help bring light to some of the under seen talent that this town has to offer. Although we are a few months out from being able to make that happen we would very much like to begin a relationship with your organization now in preparation for finding the best films to fit those screenings.

I will be hosting the “Primer” screening so if you are interested in attending please let me know as soon as possible so that I can make the arrangements. Thank you so much for your time and I hope we can make this happen.
