Christopher “Moonlight” Cooksey has lead a life of many experiences. He’s been a goth, an artist, an art teacher, and animator, and a director. He’s framed pictures, sold clothes in malls at Christmas time, ushered at movies theaters, but he’s also brought to life the imaginings of his idol Ray Bradbury, and assisted Oscar winners in their endeavors. When he’s not interviewing people and painting comic book stories for his publication Moonlight Art Magazine or Moviepilot.com, he’s producing, directing, and doing visual effects for such independent films as When Hollywood Green-Lit Comic-Con, The Practical People, and Girl In The Window. He plans on making many more sci-fi and horror themed movies in Texas, in the near future.

Hi Christopher! I’m curious about the status of your SXSW showcase. Any word on your selections yet? After seeing you in action at the Austin Film Meet in December, I’ve submitted two short films on behalf of Wild Family Studio, where we make family-focused films. Want you to know we’re here to support you in making Austin a movie-making mecca.
Hi Kabirin, thanks so much for your interest in the Art Show. Unfortunately, some unforeseen issues caused us to need to postpone the show until the fall. It sounds like you have some interesting pieces to show. We should be posting new information on the art show in the next few weeks. Please stay tuned… so to speak. Thanks!
Hi Kabirin,
Yes, as Cherdon says. We’re in the process of revising the show, so that it’s stronger and as exciting as possible. We love that you’ve reached out in support, and look forward to seeing what you and Wild Family Studio are doing. Thanks so much.
