She is currently shopping a dark comedy feature screenplay focused on elder care, aging, and end-of-life autonomy, co-writing a feature horror film script, developing the Shakespeare Pigeon Theatre web series, and planning a multimedia exhibit titled HOT (about menopause). Mark Parker – Cinematographer

Here’s what Mark had to say…

I find little more magical than the process of taking an idea in one’s head and transforming it into a story that tells itself. Long on the sidelines watching the stories others’ have created, it’s time for me to tell my own and to help others do the same.

“… we are the dreamers of dreams” – W. Wonka

Mark Parker

Elysia Van Deusen – Assistant Director

Elysia Van Deusen was shocked by 220 volts of electricity and sent to the ER her first day crewing a film. Undeterred, she returned to set the next day. In the intervening years she has worked on full-fledged studio pictures, micro-budget indies, commercials, documentaries, sales videos, reality TV, and live broadcast news in a wide range of roles. Her most recent narrative credits are for writing, directing, and art department on short films.

An empath and a problem solver, creative but with a respectable spreadsheet habit, Elysia believes that people need stories and art. Ask to read her feature screenplay “Painterly,” in which art speaks to a single mom — literally. Or invite her to collaborate or day-play on your projects. She’s always eager to get back on set.
