I’m H.Cherdon (pronounced SHARE+done) Austin Film Meet's Founder, Director & Host. My soul thrives on creating, so I make things: stories, books, blogs, films, art, side hustles, too many sweets and even people. I’m a passionate, compassionate, glass-half-full kind of person driven by a strong need for deep human connection and a close-knit, supportive community.

Austin Film Meet is a support, networking, education & collaboration community for indie film, video & media makers of all positions & skill levels. Since 2008, we've brought people together and hosted more than 450 different programs and events. We raise skill levels & professionalism through increased awareness, education & experience. We encourage a sense of community & a pay-it-forward attitude within our group. We help each other help each other.

We welcome anyone with an interest in pursuing film, video or new media. We are producers, crew, directors, videographers, actors, artists, youtubers, gaffers, promoters, writers, designers, photographers, coordinators, cinematographers, grips, sound techs, musicians, sound designers, composers, drone operators, coordinators & more!
