Edgen Films is proud to host a private screening of the Weinstein Co’s SARAH’S KEY. Adapted from the best selling Tatiana de Rosnay novel of the same name, Sarah’s Key is a sensitive portrayal of a modern woman’s search for truth that leads her to examine her own families role in the forced deportation of the French Jews by the Vichy government in 1942.

Starring Kristin Scott Thomas, Mélusine Mayance, Niels Arestrup, and Michel Duchaussoy, this film is sure to have people talking. From its powerful storyline, to the
beauty of its artistic expression SARAH’S KEY is a shining example of film making at it’s very best and exactly the type of work the Austin Film Communities embrace. Edgen Films and the Austin Jewish Film Society are honored to take part in assisting The Weinstein Company in bringing such a powerful, and thought provoking film to Austin.

Edgen Films is proud to host a private screening of SARAH’S KEY. The Weinstein Company will release this wonderful piece of cinematic storytelling in the Austin area at the beginning of August. But you can be the first to uncover the mystery, from the beloved best selling novel by Tatiana De Rosnay. Starring Kristin Scott Thomas, this film is sure to have people talking, from its powerful storyline, to the beauty of its artistic expression. SARAH’S KEY is representative of the type of work the Austin Film Communities embrace and Edgen Films and the Jewish Film Society are honored to take part in assisting The Weinstein Company in bringing such wonderful film to those communities.

The Players:

Justin R. Durban is an Artist Extraordinaire. From graphic design to composing the music that moves the film, from writing to directing, his passion and talent for all things film have lead him thru life and many successes. “We are fortunate to have an artist of his caliber as Creative Director of Edgen Films”. Nicholle Walton brings the perspective of a performing artist, as an actress and singer, and the moxy of a Southern girl with a keen head for business to Edgen Films. She works closely with her partners in building a company that works to redefine the Indie Film making industry, and to promote, support, and help build their local communities. As both a “No-nonsense, don’t take no for an answer” Producer and The Director of Business Affairs for Edgen Films, Nicholle is clearly a woman worth watching in this Industry.

Leah Weinberger is an award winning writer who worked as a Coordinator of the Austin Screenwriters Group for 2009/2010. Leah’s favorite genre to write is Science fiction/Fantasy. In particular, she loves creating fantastic worlds while exploring the human condition. She holds the position of the Director of Development for Edgen Films and works with writers in the development phase of their scripts, as well as creating some of Edgen Films best bodies of work. When she is not mentoring emerging writers, she works closely with her partners in creating innovative vessels for funding, producing, and distributing those works. Look for her latest adventures, STASIS and FAIRY HILL, coming soon from Edgen Films.
