FILM MEET IS BACK! … Help Spread the Word!
WHO: Austin Film Meet’s Open Mic Mixers are an awesome networking event for anyone involved in the Central Texas film and video, media & entertainment industries. Attendees include filmmakers, film crew, talent, actors, photographers, videographers, sound technicians, art department, marketers, musicians, artists, promoters, festival organizers, and more spanning a range of skill and experience levels. Anyone with an interest in film or video, television, web video production, at any level on any platform. All are welcome.
OPEN-MIC: Come prepared to take a turn on the open-mic. Introduce yourself, quickly pitch your project, tell us what positions you have available, or let us know what skills you have and how you can help on other projects. Each person gets 60 seconds max. It’s goes faster than you think it will, so practice what you’re going to say.
CONNECT: Come early & stay late to network and make the connections you need to get involved and take your craft to the next level. Don’t forget your business cards! You’ll need them.

Location is outdoors, so dress accordingly.

PARKING: Plentiful, free parking.
BRING: We suggest that you bring business cards or posters for your project.
KIDS: Kids are welcome. Kids in film and video are welcome to speak at the open-mic.
