WHO: Austin Film Meet’s Mixers are an awesome networking event for anyone involved in the Central Texas film and video, media & entertainment industries. Attendees include filmmakers, film crew, talent, actors, photographers, videographers, sound technicians, art department, marketers, musicians, artists, promoters, festival organizers, and more spanning a range of skill and experience levels. Anyone with an interest in film or video, television, web video production, at any level on any platform. All are welcome.
WHAT: We won’t be having an open-mic this time but we will be playing filmmaker-themed icebreaker bingo to help people get to know each other. There will be a small prize!
FUN: There’s a swimming pool, so weather permitting, bring a swimsuit and towel if you’d like to swim. We’ll also be playing ice breaker bingo, so arrive on time and play to win a prize!
FOOD: It’s a potluck! Please bring a family-style dish to share. Please let us know what dish, or at least what type of dish, you’re bringing and we’ll update the list below. We’re looking forward to a delicious spread! Remember, there’ll be no access to fridges or ovens or microwaves, so please come prepared for that. We will have plenty of power for crock pots and slow cookers. Please bring the appropriate serving utensils for your dish such as spoon, spatula or knife. We will provide plenty of paper plates, cups, bowls, utensils, and paper towels.

PARKING: Plentiful, free street parking. Do not park in bus stop or college parking lot. Gate codes provided with RSVP.
BRING: We suggest that you bring:
- Potluck dish and any serving utensils.
- Bring your own… cooler, beverages & food – NO GLASS!
- Folding or camp chair – seating is limited
- Business cards or posters for your project
- Swim gear, suit & towel – if you want to swim
- SPF & bug repellent spray – as needed & just in case
KIDS: Kids are welcome. There will be NO LIFEGUARD on duty so you may want to bring life jackets. Swim at your own risk.
