Open Mic starts at 7:00PM. This offers a great opportunity to introduce yourself, your project, tell us about your skills and how you or we can help. Please keep it to 60 seconds or less. A minute goes faster than you think!

We’re trying out some new locations, and would really like to know what you think of this one.

We can’t wait to meet you! Stay for one-on-one networking afterward. And don’t forget your business cards!

Hi… I saw that the mixer location on meetup.com was Stompin’ Grounds but the location for the mixer is Mister Tramps here? Which is the right one for tomorrow?

  Sorry for the confusion. I’ll try to get that updated. But please, always check this site on the event day for the latest most updated info. The source is always the best and THIS website is THE SOURCE for info on Austin Film Meet events. Hope to see you there tomorrow!

  Hi Tom, yes! 60 seconds keeps it interesting! Some people bring tablets or laptops and hold them up with video playing on them while they talk, but that’ about as good as it gets for the open mic. We do host demo reel screenings and test screenings, too. Maybe that’s a better platform?
