Join Austin Film Meet's bi-weekly online writing group, designed to support and inspire film, video and animation writers and storytellers of all levels working in any format such as short, feature, series, documentary, narrative, episodic and more.

Our sessions provide a nurturing environment to practice your craft, expand your skills, and achieve your writing goals. Each meeting typically consists of a short discussion of your writing objectives, an opportunity for individual feedback exchange, and free writing. We emphasize support, accountability, and constructive critique. These virtual meetings are a fantastic opportunity to grow as a writer. 

Whether you're a novice or an experienced writer, our group welcomes you to share your work and receive valuable insights. This group is intended for Austin Film Meet members and volunteers, however guests are invited to try it out and if you like it, please JOIN AFM to support our organization.
