Humblebee Media Presents

Beginner Camera Basics Workshop

Camera Basics is an introductory workshop for beginners who need to learn the basics of camera operation. Are you still using automatic settings? Then this class is for you! Are you an aspiring Director of Photography? Then this is your first step to discovering how cameras work and how to achieve control of your optics. This workshop will be super technical and we’ll cover a lot of information fast.

A camera is not required to take this class, however, if you have a camera(s) with manual controls and/or lenses, you should bring them with you. Since every camera is different, you should definitely bring your manual. You should be able to download a printable manual from your camera manufacturer. You should also bring a pen, something to take notes with and any questions you have.

This workshop will apply to photography and videography for all interchangeable lens cameras. Brands of DSLR (D-SLR) cameras include Canon (Canon 7D, Canon 5D, Canon T2i), Panasonic and Lumix (Lumix GH1, Lumix GH2), Olympus, Sony, Pentax, Nikon, as well as old manual film cameras and new digital cameras.
