🎬 Casting Call: Short Film “Devil at the Door” – Volunteer Weekend Shoot 🎬

Hey everyone! I run a local volunteer filmmaking group that meets on weekends to create short films together. We’re currently casting for our next project, “Devil at the Door,” a short thriller about a late-night encounter that takes a chilling turn.

We’re looking for two actors to play:

• Vanessa – female, 25–40, intelligent, composed, with a mysterious side.

• Chris – male, 25–40, personable, curious, the kind of guy who talks his way into (and out of) trouble.

💬 About Us:
We’re a collaborative, all-volunteer group of filmmakers who get together on weekends to practice the craft, build experience, and create great short films. Everyone contributes their time and creativity; no prior experience needed—just enthusiasm and reliability!

📅 Schedule:

• Pre-production meeting: Saturday, Feb 15 (in the Austin area)

• Shoot date: Saturday, Feb 22

🎥 Who we’re looking for:
We’re currently prioritizing actors for these two roles, but we also welcome anyone who’d like to join us for a fun Saturday of filmmaking—whether you’re into camera work, lighting, sound, or production design.
