The tools of acting technique will be taught in these classes. Physical, vocal and mental exercises will prepare the student actor to work from a creative state. Additionally, students will gain the skills to create character by learning how to analyze a script, create an effective backstory, and live truthfully in imaginary circumstances. Contemporary and classical scenes and monologues will be explored.


The instructor, Amber DuPuy, incorporates a variety of acting techniques of including Stella Adler, Uta Hagen, Larry Moss, Sanford Meisner, Lee Strasberg, Howard Fine and Larry Silverberg.

It’s in the alley behind Birds Barberhop.

It shares the parking lot in the back of Magnolia Cafe.
