Synopsis: Based on the Edgar Allen Poe short story, “The Cask of Amontillado,” this film follows to friends at a dinner with an unbelievable amount of tension between them. The night turns ugly when Monty reveals what his true intentions are…
Character Breakdowns:
Monty – 30-50 years old, cunning, can be calm and polite yet harsh and cruel, main character
Older Monty – the older the better 70-90, two short scenes shouldn’t take long at all
Fortunato (name may change) – Prude, high-up-ish, proud, clueless, rich, powerful yet not cunning
Servants – need as many as I can get!
Crew Positions Needed:
Director of Photography – I have always shot films myself but I will need all of the help I can get to get the best performances possible out of my actors!
Production Designer – In charge of the look of the house we will shoot at and props.
Location Manager – might need to change up one of the two locations
Gaffer – In charge of all lighting gear (moving it, turning on, suggestions)
Boom Operator – In charge of all things sound
Writer – First draft of script is done, would love a collaborators

Special Notes for Potential Cast/Crew: I am not a professional. I just finished high school and never got the chance to make this movie during my three years of filmmaking. I won’t be studying film in college so I want to make this movie right. I have never worked with a big crew before so this should be a fun experience to have a lot of help!
