Casting Call for Annie Hall UT Austin Undergraduate Scene Exercise

Scene Synopsis: After catching Alvy spying on her post-breakup, Annie confronts him about his paranoid habits and his inability to commit. Alvy attempts to battle the situation by confronting Annie about her relationship with a professor and with self-depricating humor.

ALVY (male, 20s-30s, any ethnicity)
A paranoid, self-reflexive, insecure comedian. His childhood romantic trauma has made him a pessimist who las little luck with sex or relationships.
ANNIE (female, 20s-30s, any ethnicity)
A struggling singer. Insecure, dependent, somewhat airheaded. Her dependence on men causes her heartache, but eventually leads to her independence and self-confidence.
