TINY, TEXAS” BACKGROUND CASTING CALL
“Tiny, Texas” is looking to fill several roles for our shoot next week – March 17th-March 21st! A daily stipend (varying depending on role) will be provided along with standard compensation of meals for 6 hr+ days.
Production Type : Feature (indie) film
Logline : In an iconic 1980s small Texas town, a high school basketball prodigy hits a wall of expectations—the community’s, and his own. And then his estranged and unwelcome father comes home.
Shooting Dates : 3/17-3/18 (STUDENTS), 3/19-3/21 (PLAYERS), 3/20 (AUDIENCE, PEP BAND, CHEERLEADERS)

BACKGROUND ROLES NEEDED
“STUDENTS”
(4-6 Roles), $50/day
Age: 15-18+, all gender and ethnicities
Look: General ‘80s highschool teens
Wardrobe: Come wearing public school-appropriate clothing. No logos, muted colors.
Requirements: Comfortable standing for long periods; can pass for a high school teen; if under 18 Guardian must be on set at all times.
Date needed: 3/17 & 3/18
“
SKILLED PLAYERS”
(4-6 Roles), $200 / day
Age: 15-18+, male, mostly caucasian
Look: General highschool teens, home team
Wardrobe: Basketball uniform and shoes will be provided
Requirements: Must be a skilled basketball player; comfortable with light indoor physical activity, standing for long periods and taking direction; can pass for a high school teen; if under 18 Guardian must be on set at all times
Dates needed: 3/19 (rehearsal/3hrs/half day rate), 3/20, 3/21

PLAYERS”
(16 Roles), $50 / day
Age: 15-18+, male, mostly caucasian
Look: General highschool teens, home team, opposing team
Wardrobe: Basketball uniform and shoes will be provided
Requirements: Comfortable with light indoor physical activity, standing or sitting for long periods; can pass for a high school teen; if under 18 Guardian must be on set at all times
Dates needed: 3/20, 3/21

AUDIENCE”
(50-100 Roles), $50/day + RAFFLE PRIZE (Playstation 5)
audience at high school basketball game, sporting colors for the home team and opposing team
Wardrobe: Come wearing Western wear (denim, workboots, belts) and/or home team colors
(Maroon). No logos, muted colors. Please also bring back-up options for opposing team colors (Light blue, white) if you have them.
Requirements: Comfortable standing or sitting for long periods; if under 18 Guardian must be on set at all times
Dates needed: 3/20 (6 hours : 12:45p – 6:45p)

PEP BAND MEMBERS
”
(5-8 Roles), $100/day + RAFFLE PRIZE (Playstation 5)
Age: 15-18+, all genders, mostly caucasian
Look: General highschool teens
Wardrobe: Come wearing home team colors (Maroon). No logos, muted colors.
Requirements: Must bring an instrument and be able to play it. Comfortable standing or sitting for long periods; if under 18 Guardian must be on set at all times
Dates needed: 3/20 (6 hours : 12:45p – 6:45p)

CHEERLEADERS
”
(5-8 Roles), $50/day + RAFFLE PRIZE (Playstation 5) Age: 15-18+, female, mostly caucasian
Look: General highschool teens
Wardrobe: Come wearing home team colors (Maroon). No logos, muted colors. Production also has cheerleading uniforms.
Requirements: Should be comfortable standing for long periods. If under 18, a guardian must be on set at all times. If under 18 Guardian must be on set at all times
