About the Character:
Brad Sr. is the father of a Black astronaut. A man of few words, but when he speaks, it lands. He’s wise, grounded, and carries the kind of Southern soul that comes from a lifetime of hard work and quiet strength. He’s never left his small town in Texas, and he’s perfectly fine with that. The stars are his escape. His scenes are with a young Brad, stargazing under the Texas sky.
