Our director is not Steven Soderbergh. He is a talented, passionate, and talented director with a locked script and a great movie to make… but if we don’t find a DP soon, he’s going to have to shoot this thing himself.
Please don’t let that happen.
Odie is a single-day city odyssey set entirely on the streets of Austin — Zilker, Barton Springs, downtown, North Austin. Think Tangerine meets The Florida Project. Ground-level, intimate, funny, and quietly devastating. 15 shoot days. Real locations. A lead performance worth putting on film properly.
We’re looking for a local DP who who’s got some savvy they’d like hungry young DP ready to shoot their first feature.
The deal:
- $7,000 with rig / $4,000 no rig
- 5 points
- $21,000 deferred
- Camera: Sony FX6 with 2 cine zoom lenses and a prime 35 (Package we have reserved, open to similar priced packages)
