Karen Fletcher – Thin, frail, 19-24, Karen is a creative girl, quiet but capable. Her childhood is very troubled leaving her with a terrific amount of social anxiety. The film opens with her doing a TV interview, so she’s strong, but wounded by her past and doing her best to move on. During the film her anime is being turned into a live action film so this pushes her to really overcome her anxiety which then lands her in the worst possible situation.
