Synopsis: Deception is a psychological thriller short film, dealing with family secrets and lies, and the struggles of a young recent graduate and her journey to adulthood.
Character Breakdowns:
Tish
Any Race / Female
A young high school senior and loyal best friend to main character. Outgoing spunky personality and willing to take on any challenge. She is loyal to a fault and doesn’t back down from any challenge.
Mother
African-American Female ages 40+
Mother of the main character, and currently ill with cancer. Nurturing southern personality, looking out for daughter’s best interests despite current health situation.

Special Notes for Potential Cast/Crew: Cast: We’ve held in person auditions; and need only to fill two more roles, as one of the actresses did not work out. Please send headshot, resume, and a link to a reel (if you have one).
We will be shooting promo work next weekend and holding a production meeting/mixer for all the cast and crew to meet and receive the full script. Full production for the film will be in late July or early August.
