**Last Minute Casting Call!!
We are casting a 4-minute scene for the UT Austin Directing Workshop class. This is a scene adapted from the film Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
The scene involves two individuals who are trying to keep their relationship afloat. The purpose of the assignment is to bring a new interpretation to the scene, not recreate it. This is a great exercise for scenes with emotional drama and good experience for those wanting to build their reel.
Auditions will be held on Friday 8:30am-1pm, and Sunday 12:30pm – 5pm. These will take place on University of Texas at Austin campus in CMB and CMA building. Please email us so we can make an appointment and give specific room locations!
If you cannot make the auditions but are still interested, please reach us so we can set up an alternate time.
**There will be two-three rehearsals in the following week according to actor availability and time.
**The shoot will take place the weekend of September 22 and 23 in one location in Austin.
Compensation: Copy of final edited product will be provided for demo reel purposes. Food and drinks will also be provided during shoot.

**JOEL
Open-Ethnicity, Ages 20-40
He is an awkward and introverted man who is not sure of himself. He is quiet and does not talk too much about himself. His relationship with Clementine is a strained one, with him often not talking about his feelings and being passive-aggressive.
**CLEMENTINE
Open-Ethnicity, Ages 20-40
She has a vocal and strong personality when it comes to being in a relationship. She does not want to be some guy’s girlfriend or to be used in a relationship. She can be brutally honest with others, and if she needs to speak her mind about something, she will do so. Even though her relationship with Joel is a bumpy one, she has a soft spot for Joel.
