Synopsis: The story is told through a monologue of a girl, Lacey who is explaining to her ex boyfriend why they broke up. Visually the story portrays them meeting and the moments in which she detached from the relationship. It depicts the tragedy of falling out of love and how a relationship can go wrong.
Character Breakdowns:
Lacey – Female, Early 20s. She is a very emotional and thoughtful person. She is able to read people really well. She is currently in the process of finding herself and feels she can’t do that under the weight of pleasing her boyfriend. She ends up breaking up with him after much thought. She’s sad to see him go but realizes that most relationships don’t last in the end.
Paul – Male, Early 20s. He is a happy extrovert with a bright smile. Always eager to take a plunge into adventure. He’s naive and lovable. He’s blindly in love with Lacey and doesn’t realize how much he puts her on a pedestal. When she ends it he is devastated and has no clue why it had to end since he believed everything was going great.
