HOUSE AND RANCH LOCATIONS NEEDED FOR INDIE ACTION/ADVENTURE FILM
The Green Ghost is a relatively low budget, yet very ambitious, action adventure feature film , which will mostly shoot in the Lockhart, TX and Austin, TX area in late January and, in February. Mutt Productions is the company producing the film.
The indie feature film will include some cutting edge visual effects and amazing Kung-Fu fight action sequences with several well known actors, all made possible by a determined, experienced local Austin and San Antonio film crew and talent base.
Two major locations we seek are:
CHARLIE’S HOUSE INT/EXT. – Charlie is the main character who is upper middle class. He is a bachelor and owns a car dealership, so he has a nice, upper-middle-class to upper class home in a good, traditional neighborhood. Some neighborhoods that could work are Circle C, Vintage Place in Circle C, Pemberton, TarryTown and some of the neighborhoods off of South Brodie Lane.
We have multiple filming days in Lockhart, so a house in Lockhart would also work great. Ideally, the house won’t feel too feminine because the character isn’t married. The more it feels like a man-cave or bachelor’s home, the better. We will see the Exterior front and back, as well as the entry, living room, bedroom, and kitchen.
We will have one or two days total filming at the “Charlie’s House” location. We have approximately $500/shoot day budgeted as a location fee to film at a house.
RANCH EXTERIOR – We also have several exterior ranch locations. We hope to find a ranch as close to Lockhart as possible for scenes which include a basketball game (we can probably set up a portable, temporary basketball net. We also are looking for general terrain, out-buildings, and ideally a small lake or pond to use as backdrops for scenes. Filming will take place over the course of one day/night and we have approximately $500/day budgeted per shoot day.
If interested in having us scout your Home or Ranch property for this Production, please email me at ken@shootfirstpictures.com and we can work out a convenient time for me to come by and take a few quick location scout photos.
Thanks!
