Synopsis: “Memories are a lot like martial arts. They’ll both hurt you if you don’t know what you’re doing.”
This is a short action drama juxtaposing memories and martial arts. Theme: Overcoming the problems of the past without forgetting the lessons and the good. Emphasis will be placed on emotion, impactful visuals, and big reveals.
Fresh out of a breakup, a young man desperate for a new identity tries to stop letting his guard down by training in martial arts. Memories of his lover distract and detract from his efforts. There’s no match for them — except the real her.

This is a passion project, paid out of pocket. Our hope is that everyone will meet new collaborators: the professionals on this set.
The Gaffer will be paid in proportion to how much equipment he brings, up to $250/day. If you do not own equipment but do have Gaffer experience, you are still welcome to apply, and a low rate will be negotiated.
