Script Consultant / Screenwriter needed- Freelance- Austin, Texas
C-Purpose Productions is immediately seeking a strong, dynamic Austin screenwriter who is knowledgeable and well versed with the city, culture, and people to come onboard and help execute scripts based on a specific short film project breakdown.
This is a freelance position, however it could lead to more projects and a relationship with the company.
Duties/Requirements:
-Understanding and experience in screenwriting/strong writing and composition ability
-Ability to produce a screenplay based on specific story points and breakdowns of the company’s vision
-Knowledge of Austin’s culture and history. The story requires the writer to have an Austin voice.
-Research, write, fact-check, and edit script
-Conduct online research and/or consult with company Product Managers to gather information and ensure the accuracy of the script
-Writer should work well with deadlines & revisions
-Ability to contribute effectively and collaboratively in a team environment
-Great problem solving skills for both artistic and technical needs
-Strong organizational skills
