Synopsis: “Great minds discuss ideas, average minds discuss events, small minds discuss people.”
“The Mind” is a short experimental video that is intended to portray a wide variety of characters from all walks of life; good, bad and everything in between. The cast will consist of various symbolically loaded bit characters (politicians, criminals, superheroes, etc.) and normal people in various poses and situations. The project will also examine the relationship between media, self image and free thought.
Production will take place in a local television studio.
Character Breakdowns:
All characters are open to suggestion & interpretation, and include but are not limited to:
-Bikers
-Gangsters
-Fictional Characters (Easter bunnies, santa clauses, etc.)
-Priests/Nuns

-Doctors/Surgeons/Nurses
-Fictional Creatures (werewolves, aliens, etc.)

-Superheroes
-Criminals
-Native Americans
-Disabled People
-Children (no older than 13)

Special Notes for Potential Cast/Crew: -It is strongly preferred, but not required, that the talent already has access to the required clothing/costuming for their specific character. For example, if you are trying out for the superhero part, it is strongly preferred that you have your own superhero costume.
-Any physical disabilities/abnormalities are a definite plus.
-Every role is open to all races, genders and age groups unless stated otherwise.
