Synopsis:
DAMIEN REED lives in an old shabby apartment. His life is the same from day to day. It is boring and depressing. One day, Damien goes to a coffee shop and accidentally meets his ex-girlfriend – MARY WARD. She is gorgeous and mesmerizing. Damien remembers the good times they had spend together and wants it all back. Mary does not mind that. Another girl – Blondie – comes into that same coffee shop. She does not even realize how big of a mistake that is. Damien likes the girl, Mary notices that he likes her and suggests him to repeat what they used to do in good old days. Damien agrees. Damien and Mary kill Blondie and bring her body to Damien’s apartment. They celebrate, drink wine and make love. In the night Mary leave and Damien gets rid of the body. Next morning Damien’s daughter – NATALI – comes to visit him. She does not notice anything weird. Asks if he keeps taking his pills and when father assures her that he does, she leaves. Then Damien goes to the bathroom and gets rid of his anti-schizophrenia pills. He flashes them down to the toilet. He is very happy, expecting great times with his beloved Mary to come back for good. In the end we see how all the events windback up until the moment when Damien meets Mary in the coffee shop. We see that in all of those episodes Damien is all alone and there is no Mary. She is just in his head

The background story
Damien Reed was happily married to his wife Anna Reed. They had a daughter – Natali. Life was not very exciting, but it was good. Family was Damien’s top priority and he loved his wife and daughter to bits.
One day, Damien and Anna went on a car trip and had an accident. Damien was driving. He survived, but his wife Anna died. Natali had never said it out loud, but Damien felt that she was blaming him for the death of Anna.
Damien started suffering from dual-personality and went to a mental hospital for eight months. When he became well again, his doctor let him out, but gave him pills. Damien had to take those pills every day for the illness never to come back. And so he did for almost a year.
However one day he decided to skip…

Mary Ward is an invention of Damien Reed’s sick mind. He invented her to deal with the loss of his wife (she died in a car crash, Damien was driving). It got out of hand and Mary took over his entire inner world. However, hid daughter – Anna, felt that her father was unwell and placed him into a mental clinic. 8 months there and a year at home with anti-schizophrenia pills helped Damien to get rid of Mary. However one day he decided to skip one pill and it all started again.

She took care of her father even when he went schizophrenic, feeling that he was he only family that was left in this world. She has lived with her boyfriend since her mother died and visited her father every so often to make sure he was fine.
