Casting call for a short TV pilot described as a smart, fast-paced dramedy that offers a nuanced, behind-the-scenes look at the life of a restaurant server.
A breakdown of the characters that will be cast:
IMPROVISERS PLEASE
— six women between the ages of 25-45, any ethnicity
— Hispanic male, 30-40
— Hispanic woman, 30-40
— Caucasian woman, 60-70
— males, 20-40
Not paid. Meals will be provided.
Crew members are also needed.
Auditions will be held sometime between December 14th-21st in Austin. Auditions will be scheduled on an individual basis. Sides will be provided.
A tentative shooting schedule is set for mid January 2015.
The pilot will be shot on film with intended distribution through the Internet and festival circuit.
