For so many positions in filmmaking, your demo reel can almost make or break your career. Strut your stuff at the Austin Film Meet Reels Showcase. Want to Screen Your Demo Reel?
Demo reels may represent all types of positions in the film and video industry including but not limited to directors, producers, cinematographers, art directors, artists, musicians, editors, make-up artists, actors, set designers and more. Demo reels will be limited to 3 minutes. If your video runs longer than 3 minutes, it will play from the start and will be cut off at 3 minutes. If your reel is longer, we recommend editing a shorter version. Demo reels should include name and contact info somewhere in the video. Only edited demo reels will be accepted. Unedited clips, short films, commercials and other video segments will not be accepted. This is, after all, a showcase for demo reels. Only 2 reels per person allowed. You must be present to have your reel screened. You must be actively involved (or trying to get involved) in the local Austin film, video and entertainment industries, but you do not have to be an Austin Film Meet member. Sorry, but this showcase is for local talent only please. Limited slots available. They will go fast. Registration is open now.

Step 2 – Join Austin Film Meet to save $10 on the screening fee.
Step 3 – Make payment either via PayPal or cash or check delivered in person or by mail.
Step 4 – Once payment is made, please email your name, position & demo download link to me@austinfilmmeet.com. Demo reel videos must be available to download from the internet.
DEADLINE: All reels and payments must be submitted by Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 7:00 PM Central. However, slots will likely fill up sooner.
